I guess it's been a pretty exciting week...

My hair was already naturally kind of curly

but like any good american, I wanted MORE
So I got a perm. This is what it looks like now.
Then I asked Katie to help me fix it and she put it in hot rollers.

I looked like Baba Wawa:

Then I got a new phone...and daisy broke it.
I was just sitting on the floor, holding it in my hand, when all of a sudden she dropped her heavy bone on it and cracked the screen. It was a pretty big crack.
Thank goodness for packaging tape:

Then I made bachamel for my culinary skills class. I flavored it with boujion, salt, and pepper, with rosemary and chives on the side. It was served over some tasty scrambled eggs.

Then I discovered a funny youtube video...actually my friend kerri discovered a funny youtube video and showed it to me:

and then i found five dollars

J-O-E-L-L-E!!!!!!! I've been tagged

Here's the deal...
I'm supposed to :

1. Post these rules before I give the facts.
2. List one fact that is somehow relevant to my life for each letter of my middle name. If I don’t have a middle name, I am supposed to use the middle name I wish I had.
3. At the end of my blog post, I need to choose one person for each letter of my middle name to tag. (just a warning...I don't really know very many people with blogs, so step 3 is probably NOT gonna happen...but I can try)
Ready set go:

J is for Janis Joplin: Janis Joplin is important to me for 3 reasons. Reason number one: She's from the 60's. Reason number two: When I lose my voice I sound like her, and I lose my voice a lot. Reason number three: ...we both have frizzy hair.

O is for Oil Pastels: Anyone who knows me well knows I LOVE art! I love to paint, draw, sketch, color, take pictures, make movies...I just love to create things. Oil pastels are one of my favorite medias to work with. I love swirling the colors with my fingers, and blending all the layers together to create shadows and highlights. It's kind of like painting without the huge mess. :)

E is for Esther: Esther is my very FAVORITE book in the bible. I've read it several times, and each time I read it I learn something new. It's so exciting to see how God can use an ordinary girl to do such HUGE things. She basically saved an entire nation of people...it just doesn't get much cooler than that.

L is for Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds: I like the beatles...enough said.

L is for Laugh: I like to laugh. Sometimes I laugh a little too much, and sometimes I laugh when I shouldn't, but then again...I don't think there's ever really a time when you shouldn't laugh. Laughing is good for your face...It prevents wrinkles or something like that.

Watch this video and you'll never have wrinkles again...

E is for emo: No...I'm not an emo...I just like them...and this summer I accidently got an emo mullet...but don't worry, I don't have an emo mullet any more.

Every girl needs a gilbert blythe...

JUST A FEW RECENT EVENTS EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE OF:

1.) I came to the shocking realization that I only like fudge when I'm in the nude...I mean...oh my lanta...What did I just say? ...I meant to say the mood!
(Ya...learned a pretty important lesson on Friday...words don't always come out the way you want them to, and mine have a way of coming out very very very wrong.)

2.) My english teacher has a lisp and doesn't know how to use a computer.

3.) I got new glasses

4.) I was involved in the tiniest accident in the history of car accidents. (I rear ended the car in front of me as we were both slowing down for a yellow light. She was cut off by another driver and slammed on her brakes causing me to slam on my brakes and bump the back of her car. )There was literally NO damage on either car; even the plastic lining around my license plate was still in perfect condition. Yet somehow I was charged with an "Injury accident" and will most likely have to go to court for the supposed "whiplash" suffered by the driver of the other car. I guess it just seems a little fishy to me since I hardly even felt a jolt in my car. If she hadn't burst out of her ugly little chevy, screamed at me, and released her anger by kicking her shiny un-damaged bumper, I may have not even realize I'd hit her. So....long story short...sometimes people are mean and leave you crying in the middle of a busy street simply because they have nothing better to do with their boring little lives!

5.) I learned that when put in a stressful situation the worst word that comes to mind is "OH SHOOT!" (unlike the lady in the chevy who had a rather extended vocabulary)

6.) I discovered my mom's archeaological bible. It has information on EVERYTHING! It probably weighs about a thousand pounds. I haven't been able to stop reading it all week. I'm learning so many interesting things about the bible that I've never even thought of before. It has pages and pages of information explaining each verse in detail, and providing backround information on the location and time period of everything. I LOVE IT! It makes me feel smart.

7.) I got the solo for Chamber choir. (though at this point i'm still not sure whether to be excited or terrified.)

8.) I died my hair...the blonde thing just wasn't working for me

9.) I decided I need my own Gilbert...and I need him NOW!
Ahhhhh, Gilbert Blythe...basically the love of my life.

10.) I discovered that when I blow-dry my hair without a diffuser I have a fro

Tea Party...

So, tonight, me and a couple of my friends decided to dress up and have a tea party. There was tea, egg salad sandwiches, cheese and crackers, cucumbers and muffins...basically every food ever made. We also watched Where the Heart is. It was quite delightful.

I had a GOOOOD day!

So, today after school I was standing with my friends in the hallway as usual when suddenly I heard someone singing. At first glance I didn't see anybody, but then I noticed a fuzzy head of hair bouncing up and down, just barely visible over my friend AJ's back-pack. This guy who was probably only about 4'10 or 4'11 was skipping down the hall singing "macho macho man" in the most painfully high voice I think I've ever heard. It didn't even phase my friends at all. As a matter of fact, AJ was the only one who even saw it. He just looked at me and smiled. I however, nearly fell to the ground laughing. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard at school. It totally made my day
So, the moral of the story is:
don't be afraid to make a fool out of yourself...it provides entertainment for other people.
